I tried installing the Gevey Sim on an already unlocked IPhone 4 (not factory unlocked though) but it didn’t work. Hence, I took it out and am using it back with Jailbreak unlock, as I was before.
Since then I’m having problems with my 3G connection (with wifi it works OK). Even though I get the 3G sign next to the bars, when I open any Internet app I get the “Unable to connect to mobile network” message.
Any troubleshoot ? Thanks!
(I’d rather not use it with Gevey, as the SIM tray doesn’t fit perfectly)

It has been a long time since the user of iPhone 4 on 04.12.01 are waiting for gevey unlock . We heard lots of promises and ETA but whats the result ? Did really apple got over all talented hackers , jailbreakers ? Hard to believe though. Come on the great iPhone unlockers we rely on u guys we expect alot, do sth.

I currently have an Iphone 4, Version 4.3.5 and Modem Firmware 04.10.01. I m using a Gevey Sim and its working wonderful. But i wish to install iOS 5.1 and unlock it through Gevey Sim only. Not jailbreak my iPhone 4 . Can anyone help or suggest how can i install iOS 5.1 and use gevey sim. Will i have to buy another gevey sim or what the procedure to unlock 04.12.01 baseband .
